If you are having trouble draining water in the kitchen, then you need to know how to clean pipe under gold kitchen faucet. In case of mild clogs, you can use a plunger to loosen the blockage. If the clog is more severe, you can use a snake or a drain cleaning cable. If you are not comfortable using either, you can hire a plumber. Before you try to clean pipe under kitchen sink, you need to gather all necessary tools. First, you need a bucket to catch the water that spills while working. Next, you will need a wrench and a brush.

If the clogs are not that deep, you can also use a drain snake. This tool resembles a snake and is attached to a long wooden handle. You will need to feed the snake through the sink one foot at a time. Be careful not to push too hard or you may accidentally push the clog further down the pipe. Once you have the pipe completely unclogged, you can use a bottle brush or a coathanger to remove the debris.

If you do not have a drain snake, you can use a wire coat hanger as a makeshift plumber's snake. Unwind it with needle-nose pliers and insert it into the pipe. The hook should fit into the opening of the pipe. Once the clog has been removed, you can refit the piece with the couplings and bolts. The process should be simple and painless.

Once the wire coat hanger is unwound, you can use it as a makeshift plumber's snake. Just unwind the wire using needle-nose pliers and feed the pipe with the wire coat hanger's hook end. After a few minutes, the clog should have disintegrated and you will be able to flush the drain. If you are unsure, check the drain with hot water.

Using a plunger is another useful tool to clear the pipe. The plunger works by sucking air through the pipe. After it is submerged, place the plunger over the hole and gently push the plunger upwards and downwards. You can do this until the drain is completely clear. If the clog remains, you can use a hot water spray to clear the pipe. It is not necessary to use a drain cleaner when cleaning the pipe under kitchen sink.

If you do not have a drain snake, you can also use a wire coat hanger as a makeshift plumber's snake. Just unwind the wire coat hanger with a pair of needle-nose pliers and keep the hook at the bottom of the pipe. After a couple of minutes, the pipe should be completely clear. After that, you can test the water flow through the drain by running it under hot water.
